How to: Make the perfect Turkey Taco.. at home

Hi guys, with Thanksgiving coming up, I thought it would be a good idea to include a taco recipe involving Turkey! Today I will be sharing with you a how to on making the perfect turkey taco at home! Personally, this is one of my favorite homemade taco recipes, and on top of that, it is super simple to make! Let’s get started.

Step 1:
Make sure you have all the ingredients needed.
-Minced turkey. (1 pack should be good.)
-Soft or hard taco shells. Personally, I like the mini soft shell tacos that you can get at most supermarkets, and if gluten free, they have that option as well.
-1 pack of taco seasoning.
-Sour cream
-Shredded Monterey Jack or Cheddar or even mixed cheese.
-Lettuce. Preferably I like the Superfoods avocado ranch Salad mix, because it adds variety and a great crunch rather than just shredded lettuce.
-Chopped up tomatoes and onions.
-Any sort of hot sauce for a touch of spice.
-Optional, some cilantro and as well as a lime to squeeze on the taco.

Step 2:
Let’s start cooking!
I like to start by cooking the minced turkey. When doing so, make sure you cook the turkey in a pan and just get it fully cooked. Once cooked, drain the juices that’s formed after cooking.
-Then put the turkey meat back in the pan, and add a little bit of oil and the pack of taco seasoning and mix it all in for a few minutes.

Step 3:
Put everything together!
Make sure your taco shells are out, and evenly distribute all of the ingredients on each shell.
-Start with the meat, then the cheese. Then add a little bit of sour cream, topped with the tomatoes, onions, and the lettuce or superfood mix.
-Then put a little bit of cilantro as a garnish, and squeeze however much lime that you would like!
