Hi everyone, last week I finally went to Red Cadillac in Union! I was super excited to try  this cute little restaurant style bar. They are known for their tacos, and for the overall great vibe that they carry in Union, New Jersey.

The vibe is very relaxed, and everyone who works there is super friendly. You definitely get the sense that everyone comes to this joint to have a good time, with a great ambiance and music.

 

I tried their fish tacos from their menu. I also tried one of their sangria pitchers with a friend. I must say that when it comes to tacos, I love trying everything that the place offers. I am definitely not a picky eater when it comes to trying new things. But my favorite type of taco would have to be fish tacos. My fish taco experience at Red Cadillac was great.

The fish was battered (fried) and filled with the perfect amount of toppings. The soft shell taco was stuffed with a good amount of fish, pico de gallo, shredded cheese, and for a garnish, they used coriander. Although it doesn’t sound like the tacos consisted of diverse ingredients, the flavors did work perfectly together.

The fish tacos were $18, which does sound expensive but for the restaurant and the fact that it was a fish taco, I think that the price was pretty reasonable. Even though my blog isn’t about drinks, I must also give some credit to the sangria.

The sangria had a very generous amount of fruit, as well as wine mixed in with some juice. The flavors worked together to make the drink not seem too strong, even though after having a few glasses, I did indeed realize that I was getting a little tipsy.

I definitely recommend this place to anyone who is in the area or, to even make the trip out to Union to try this place out for a nice little night out with friends. It’s the perfect place that carries a fun vibe to share some tacos and drinks with friends after a long week.
