As a college student in New Jersey, it’s very common to have a friend or two that go to Rutgers University. When visiting, it can get pretty overwhelming to pick a place to eat at. Everyone has that one favorite place to eat in the New Brunswick area.

Mine would be Tacoria. The Tacoria in New Brunswick reminds me a lot of Taqueria in Jersey City due to their menu, and the authenticity of the flavors of their tacos.

Their Carne Asada and Pollo Asada tacos are my favorite. But a perk with this place is that you get to pick what exact toppings you would like.

Although these tacos are a little on the pricey side. For just 1 taco the price is $2.95 and for 3, the price is $8.95. I do think the tacos are good, and I like the vibe and character that the place carries, but I still think these tacos are a little overpriced.

But when visiting Rutgers, it’s definitely a must to try out this place, especially during the summer season with the added bonus to sit outside in their cute outdoor seating. Especially if you’re in the mood for tacos.
